Innovative Learning

TA Academy is an initiative to support Teaching Assistants in their day-to-day work by providing learning opportunities and resources available at NU. This is a short 5-day program with 30-minute online sessions.

The program consists of the webinar sessions delivered by Aiman Khamitova and Aigerim Sary, and takes place every month around topics such as classroom management, assessment, student engagement, and instructional technologies. The topics covered in the program include student learning, active learning and PBL, classroom management, and assessment design.

This program has two purposes: 1) provide basic knowledge around teaching and learning, and 2) provide opportunities for collaboration and networking among the teaching assistants.
