NU Institutional Research and Analytics (Office of the Provost) is glad to share the first issue of the NU Data Digest.

The Data Digest is a statistical report that provides comprehensive information on NU student admission, enrollment, retention, and graduation, and on faculty and staff.  It is the official source for NU statistics, and was endorsed as such by the Academic Council on June 03, 2020.

In March 2019, the NU Academic Council approved the Institutional Research (IR) Strategy of the Autonomous Organization of Education Nazarbayev University. The Data Digest is the reference (authoritative) statistical report for the NU community.

In consultation with the Office of the Registrar, it was determined that the Data Digest will use the end of the sixth week of Fall semester classes as the census date for computing all official NU statistics. The Data Digest will therefore be produced every Fall semester, with the statistics serving as estimates for the rest of the academic year. Future editions will be expanded to include more data (if needed).
