A review team of the UK Quality Assurance Agency in Higher Education recently visited NU as part of the International Quality Review process; this will lead to institutional accreditation, if NU is successful.

Comprised of international experts in higher education, the team conducted meetings with students and staff, and reviewed the University's quality system, approaches to teaching and learning, student support, facilities and infrastructure to evaluate NU's compliance with the ESG standards. The University community engaged  enthusiastically with the review during the site visit.

Dr. Duncan Priestley, General Director of Institutional Effectiveness, highlighted the importance of this process, stating: "The award of institutional accreditation - if we are successful - will demonstrate that our quality system, educational provision, infrastructure and student support are aligned with international standards and best practices".
